“I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us, and we change things.” – Mother Teresa
This powerful reflection by Mother Teresa reminds us that the deepest form of transformation often begins from within. Whether one calls it prayer, reflection, meditation, or intention setting, this inward journey plays a crucial role in helping individuals heal, grow, and take action toward a better world.
As part of its holistic approach to well-being, the Bread of Life (B.O.L.) Foundation recognizes the importance of quiet reflection and emotional grounding—not just as a spiritual practice, but as a means to build inner strength, clarity, and resilience. In a world filled with noise, stress, and disconnection, creating space for silence, reflection, and collective goodwill is more important than ever.
B.O.L. considers this practice of conscious reflection for the well-being of others—whether they are near or departed—as a cornerstone of its work. It’s an act of empathy that fosters hope, remembrance, and solidarity. These practices allow people to pause, connect with themselves, and express care for others, especially during times of grief, hardship, or uncertainty.
To nurture this sense of community and compassion, the foundation has introduced a weekly gathering dedicated to mindful intentions and collective reflection. Every Saturday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, a small group from the B.O.L. team gathers at its Ahmednagar center to reflect, meditate, and hold space for the various petitions and concerns shared by community members.
If you wish to share your intention—whether for yourself, your family, or someone who has passed away—the foundation welcomes you to submit it through the form below. Every name and note will be held with respect, privacy, and compassion during these sessions.

In honoring both the living and the departed, B.O.L. seeks to build a space where human connection transcends barriers—where compassion is the language, and empathy is the act. Because when we pause, reflect, and wish well for others, we slowly begin to change ourselves—and with it, the world around us.
