[About BOL Foundation]
Q: What does BOL Foundation do?
Ans: The Foundation exists, “To offer the bread of life, by providing works of charity to address various forms of poverty within the society". The B.O.L. foundation comes to the aid of our neighbor in their bodily need, where he or she experiences, consistent lack of resources, whether internal (food, thirst), or external (cloth, shelter), or suffering (diseases, imprisonment and burial).
This core objective is divided into seven corporal, and seven spiritual objectives.
Q: How was BOL FOUNDATION formed? Who formed it and why?
Ans: The BOL Foundation came into existence as a result of a religious vision experienced by the founder Gaurav Joseph Patole in the year 2012. While participating in the 4:30 PM CST Mass at St Ann’s Church, Coppell, TX, USA, during the consecration of the host, Gaurav experienced a religious vision where he saw the crucified image of Jesus juxtaposed over the Eucharistic host. This vision was so vivid, it left Gaurav in a state of awe and weeping. This life changing encounter with the Eucharistic Lord would then inaugurate and sow the seeds of the future BOL Foundation. Jesus’s biblical mandate to carry the 'works of mercy' for the poor would soon become the foundation’s own mandate and objective. As time went along, the foundation started shaping by the ardent support and guidance of Joseph John Patole, Shobha Joseph Patole, Amit Joseph Patole & family. By 2016, BOL Foundation started working at the grass-root level for the poorest of the poor.
